On 28 August 2010, Oreste’s Hütte was officially opened. The mountain hut, situated in Z’Indra, is dedicated to the memory of Oreste Squinobal, a mountain guide from Gressoney, renowned for numerous significant ascents in his native mountains and on expeditions outside Europe, including the ascent of Kangchenjunga.
The hut remains open throughout both the summer and winter seasons.
